Have a good friend and colleague. He’s a really wonderful photographer. Sometimes, the hardest thing in painting is to find a worthy scene that inspires me. This is one of the first paintings I did, almost all with a palette knife. The scene is at dusk. That’s the first Comcast building on the left and the Mellon Bank building on the right of the tracks. This scene is now obscured by the new second Comcast billing.  I wanted to capture the vibrancy of all the lights and how the city comes alive at night.
